RCHT Shines at RDF24: Celebrating Innovation and Achievement
Two teams from Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust had their abstracts accepted by the national Research Development Forum (RDF) at their annual national conference in May. The event brought together over 870 attendees, 60 speakers, 25 exhibitors, and 100 posters from across health and care research management. It provided the perfect platform to showcase RCHT’s achievements and capabilities.

The Rapid Response Team produced a poster to showcase the direct impact of agile working on alleviating service pressures.

The Research Doctors put together a poster to detail the valuable work they carry out in our organisation. The poster was awarded ‘Runner Up’ in the Delegate Choice section.
Lisa Trembath, Lead Research Nurse said “Our Rapid Response Team and Research Doctors presented two posters at the forum, garnering significant engagement for the innovative initiatives at RCHT. Notably, the Research Doctors won a runner-up award for their poster, placing RCHT on the national stage for innovative practice; a remarkable accolade.”
R&D are keen to highlight research and related initiatives taking place at RCHT at the 2025 RDF. Please get in touch for more information.
