About
The phlebotomy clinic at West Cornwall Hospital, is an appointment-based service for patients over the age of 16yrs, requiring routine blood tests.
Opening hours: 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (closed on bank holidays).
Important information about your appointment
- This clinic is by appointment only.
- The phlebotomist cannot provide blood test results; please contact your clinician for this information.
- If you have any additional requirements, please let us know when booking your appointment, for example; if you require reasonable adjustments, a carer or interpreter in attendance, have experienced difficulties when giving blood previously, mobility issues, to allow us to book additional appointment time if needed.

Where to find us?
West Cornwall Hospital, St Clare St, Penzance, TR18 2PF.
The phlebotomy room is located in the Penlee Unit at West Cornwall Hospital; please use the main hospital entrance. Please check in for your phlebotomy appointment at the Penlee Unit reception, before taking a seat in the waiting area. The phlebotomist will call your name when they are ready to see you.
